B-Cut Olympics at Continental CarbonicB-cut Olympics Produces Champion Dry Ice Handlers at Continental Carbonic

Continental Carbonic Products employees recently competed in the "B-Cut Olympics". What's a B-Cut? It's one of many custom dry ice packages Continental Carbonic Products prepares for special uses. This dry ice product is especially designed for in-flight catering, to keep meals served on commercial flights at a safe refrigerated temperature prior to preparation and serving. This product is made on a production line that uses a team of four people. The team must work closely together and follow all dry ice safety requirements. The B-Cut Olympics score ranked the teams' output, observance of dry ice safety rules and yield in the cutting and wrapping of the large blocks of dry ice into the B-cut size.

B-Cut Olympics at Continental CarbonicThe Olympics took place at the Continental Carbonic Products manufacturing facility in Pekin, Illinois.  Teams from Brookhaven in Mississippi, Loudon in Tennessee, Albion in Michigan and Pekin in Illinois were judged during the timed session. The team from Albion, Michigan was the newest, having been trained at Pekin. Loudon brought their own cheerleaders, complete with signs and pom-poms. The safe teamwork demonstrated by these highly-trained foursomes is the same teamwork demonstrated by all Continental Carbonic Products employees who serve your dry ice needs quickly, efficiently, and safely.
