Dry Ice Available in the Event of Nemo Power Outages.
East Coast branches of Continental Carbonic Products, Inc. will have dry ice available to help businesses and residents that may experience power outages in the aftermath of blizzard Nemo. Dry ice can keep frozen and refrigerated foods and other perishables from spoiling during a power outage. At a temperature of -109°F, dry ice can replace the cooling power of a refrigerator or freezer.
"Continental Carbonic branches along the east coast are open and will have dry ice to assist those affected by the storm," stated John Funk, President of Continental Carbonic Products, Inc., "Our employees are prepared to assist businesses and consumers in keeping food, pharmaceuticals, and other perishable items fresh if power outages occur."
Continental Carbonic locations are located in Boston, New York/New Jersey, and Philadelphia. To see a complete listing of Continental Carbonic branch locations and find directions, click here or call 1-800-DRY-ICE2 if internet is not available.
