Continental Carbonic Ready with Dry Ice as Hurricane Sandy Approaches.

With the threat of Hurricane Sandy looming, Continental Carbonic Products, Inc. will be prepared with dry ice to assist East Coast businesses or residents suffering from extended power outages. Dry ice can keep frozen and refrigerated foods from spoiling in the event of a power outage. At a temperature of -109°F, dry ice can replace the cooling power of a refrigerator or freezer.

"Continental Carbonic stands ready to help the businesses and residents of the East Coast in the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy," stated John Funk, President of Continental Carbonic Products, Inc., "With distribution branches located along the East Coast in key cities expected to be hit by the storm, we are well-positioned to assist both companies and consumers in keeping perishables fresh."

Continental Carbonic locations are located in Baltimore, Boston, New York/New Jersey and Philadelphia. Click here to see a complete list of our branch locations.

Continental Carbonic locations will be open from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, October 27 and during normal business hours during the week of October 29th.
